LiveWith Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the LiveWith mobile application ("the Service"), operated by APM Labs LLC ("LiveWith", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use LiveWith. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use. You may delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete Account.
3. Households and shared content
LiveWith lets you create or join a household via invite code, subject to approval by the household host. Content you create — expenses, bills, chores, rules, lists, photos, and messages — is shared with other members of your household. You are responsible for the content you post and for how you interact with your housemates.
4. Payments between users
LiveWith is a coordination tool. It lets you record shared expenses and display your own payment handles (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle) so housemates can settle up directly. LiveWith does not process, hold, or transfer money, and is not a party to any payment between users. Any dispute over money owed is solely between you and the other user.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
- Upload content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or infringes others' rights;
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts;
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or reverse-engineer it except as permitted by law.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior; you can report concerns to justin@apmlabs.io.
6. Advertising and in-app items
The Service may display ads, including rewarded ads that grant in-app credits (e.g., receipt-scan credits). In-app credits, points, and cosmetic items have no monetary value, are not redeemable for cash, and may be modified or discontinued.
7. AI features
LiveWith uses automated/AI processing to read receipts and verify chore photos. These features may not always be accurate; you are responsible for reviewing and confirming amounts, splits, and chore results.
8. Intellectual property; license
The Service and its content (excluding user content) are owned by LiveWith and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use. You retain ownership of content you create; you grant us a license to host, store, process, and display it as needed to operate the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers (including Supabase, Anthropic, Google AdMob, and Sentry) and may link to third-party apps or sites. We are not responsible for third-party services or their content.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
11. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIVEWITH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR MONEY OWED BETWEEN USERS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS OR US$50.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified in the app, and continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

Apple EULA note: if you rely on Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (declared in App Store Connect), these Terms should be consistent with it. Otherwise, reference your custom EULA URL here and in the app's About section.
